Hi guys! Madame Meri is back with another book review and that too within a couple of days from my last one, because I was able to go through The Maidens like a snap of a finger. I don't usually write book reviews so I may be spoiling this murder mystery thriller for some who have not read this book yet. So in case you are indeed planning to read this book, please stop reading now. The Maidens blew my mind. For someone who is not good with thrillers (movies or books), I was tempted to google the plot within 10 minutes of starting this book. I had read The Silent Patient from the same author last year so I was expecting some kind of a plot twist and hence viewed every character as a murder suspect. Almost every man in this book gave me the creeps. Like a typical Alex Michaelids novel, this book is filled with mental health references, and anyone could have been sick enough to be a serial killer.
